Effluent Plant Operator

Duties

  • Maintain and operate waste water treatment plant
  • Tends pumps, conveyors, blowers, vacuum filters and other equipment used to treat waste water.
  • monitor the processes that removes, adds treatment substances into the plant systems
  • Control equipment, reads meters and other gauges to make sure plant is working properly.

Skills

  • Good knowledge in operating machinery that converts waste water into a form that is safe to release into the environment.

Qualification

  • MSCE plus relevant Plant Operation Certificates.
