CCAP Blantyre Synod Education Department (BSED) is pleased to inform the general public of the opening of the new Henry Henderson Secondary School of Excellence (HHS) in January 2022. Located on HHI Ground next to Mwaiwathu, the school opens with forms 1 and 3 for both boarders and day scholars.
A head teacher is the most senior teacher and leader of a school, responsible for the education of all students, management of staff, and for school policy making. He/she shall lead, motivate and manage staff by delegating responsibility, setting expectations and targets and evaluating staff performance.
This position requires a person of good education, proven track record of performance, dedicated CCAP Christian of solid character, with more than five years’ experience as a successful secondary school head teacher.
The selected person will be the team leader of colleagues who are charged with the principal function of providing appropriate education that helps to inspire holistic excellence.
- Master’s Degree in Education with 3-5 years or Degree of education with 10-15 years’ experience from a reputable school. S/he should be transformational, highly disciplined and result-oriented leader with well proven track record.
