Generation Malawi is a 4.5-year (2019-2024) MRC GCRF and Wellcome-funded study that will establish a large multi-generational family/birth cohort through which to study the longitudinal course of mental and physical chronic health conditions, and the pregnancy, early-life and intergenerational effects on their development and life-course progression.

The post holder will be directly managed by the Generation Malawi research manager and will receive supervision from a psychiatrist who is the study cohort lead.

The candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Nursing or Clinical Medicine (Mental Health). This is a 18-month post, likely to be extended by a further 12 months.
