INTRODUCTION

Wella Medical Aid Society Ltd (WEMAS) is the most innovative and fastest growing health insurance company in Malawi. The company has its Head Office in Lilongwe and Branch Offices in Blantyre and Mzuzu.

An opportunity has risen for highly motivated, competent and result oriented individuals to fill vacant positions as Retail Sales Officer, Customer Service Assistant and Claims Assessor based in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANTS

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible to give advice to customers at the point of service.
  2. They will be responsible for giving advice to Service Providers on the best treatment options at their disposal.
  3. They will be responding to customer queries and complaints at the point of service.
  4. Helping management to gather market intelligence for decision making

 

Requirements

  1. Must have a very good MSCE with credits in English and mathematics
  2. Must have a certificate in marketing or Business Administration from a recognized institution
  3. Must be very fluent in English and Chichewa (Tumbuka is an added advantage for those to be based in Mzuzu)
  4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and during odd hours
  5. Must be aged between 25 and 45 years
  6. Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service role.
