El-Shaddaih Christian Academy International School is an institution duly registered, approved and recognized by the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Education and provides Secondary School education using the Malawian Curriculum.  El-Shaddaih Christian Academy International School therefore invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced persons and with passion and sense of calling to work with a Christian institution to fill the following vacant positions:

1. Title of Post: Deputy Head Teacher

Grade: H

Location: Salima

Close of business: 19^th march, 2024.

DUTIES

• Assisting the head teacher in overall administration and management of the school
• Ensuring effective and efficient maintenance of records, material resources, facilities and information services for efficient accountability
• Enforcing discipline in the school
• Assisting to manage, directing and monitoring the overall performance of the school
• Assisting to the development of plans for the school to include improving performance and to achieve targets
• Creating a culture of learning, growth, support, motivations and development for students and staff to achieve highest standards
• Heading academic department
• Teaching English as a major subject and Geography at MSCE level

QULIFICATION, SKILLS AND DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

• A minimum of a Degree in Education from a recognized university
• Must have 5 years’ experience in the same position
• Must be mature and committed person with high level of integrity
• Must be a committed Christian who is a member of recognized church
• Must be a hard worker, willing to work even during odd hours
• Past  teaching  experience shall be an added advantage
• Must be a team player

2. Title of Post:  SCIENCE TEACHER (Physics and Chemistry)

Grade: I

Location: Salima

DUTIES

• Teaching Physics and Chemistry
• Maintaining class discipline
• Preparing Schemes and Records of Work
• Preparing home work for learners
• Preparing continuous assessment, mid-term and end of term examinations
• Ensuring that learners are disciplined
• Encouraging all learners to be in full school uniform with a well combed hair
• Encouraging all learners communicate in French and English languages only
• Attending PTA meetings
• Doing any other duties as assigned from time to time

3. Title of Post: FRENCH TEACHER

Grade: I

Location: Salima

Close of Business: 19^th March, 2024

DUTIES

• Teaching French and any other Language Subject
• Maintaining class discipline
• Preparing Schemes and Records of Work
• Preparing home work for learners
• Preparing continuous assessment, mid-term and end of term examinations
• Ensuring that learners are disciplined
• Encouraging all learners to be in full school uniform with a well combed hair
• Encouraging all learners communicate in French and English languages only
• Attending PTA meetings
