DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparing schemes and records of work as well as teaching
2. Compiling test results
3. Ensuring that teaching is taking place in his/her class
4. Maintaining class records eg attendance,scholastic and period register
5. Conducting remedial and enrichment lessons
6. Providing counselling and guidance to learners
7. Maintaining discipline and classroom cleanliness
8. Identifying students needs
9. Any other duties assigned by the headteacher or deputy headteacher

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
AND WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Must have a minimum qualification of a diploma in education obtained from a reputable accredited University and a minimum of 2 years experience as a secondary a school teacher.
2. Must be registered with TCM.
