Dr. Ahmad's Supportive Secondary School, a newly established educational institution and excelling under the "EduLift Malawi" project, is committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head teacher to lead our school to new heights.



  1. Plan and lead school activities with visionary leadership.
  2. Ensure high academic standards by overseeing curriculum implementation.
  3. Supervise and support teaching and non-teaching staff.
  4. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and the community for school-community relations.
  5. Prepare school estimates for running the school and efficiently manage school resources, including finances, facilities, and personnel.
  6. Organize and coordinate school activities.
  7. Inspect teachers, learners, and school premises.
  8. Liaise with Deputy Head Teachers, teachers, and School Management Committees.
  9. Interpret MOEST policies to the school community
  10. Stay updated on educational trends for continuous improvement.



  1. Bachelor’s degree in Education in any field obtained from a registered and accredited university.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent organizational, analytical and managerial abilities.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence and student welfare.
