POSITION: Human Resource and Administration Officer (1)

LOCATION: LILONGWE

Green Villages, a local real estate company that was established to complement Malawi Governmentโ€™s efforts in providing well-planned land for housing development to urban dwelling Malawians. The company specializes in building new sustainable urban communities at a large scale. The company focuses on developing well-planned, serviced, and functional urban communities for the middle- and high-income household.

Green Villages is inviting applications from all suitable candidates to fill in the vacant post of Human Resource & Administration Officer who will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiating the creation and review of HR policies, strategies, work plans, and budgets.
  • Keeping staff records organized for easy access and retrieval.
  • Administering employee salaries, wages, and pensions.
  • Interpreting and implementing terms of service.
  • Managing staff leave.
  • Processing employment applications.
  • Handling industrial relations and worker compensation issues.
  • Maintaining asset and administrative records.
  • Managing the organization's vehicle fleet.
  • Coordinating logistics for staff welfare, official travel, workshops, etc.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for subordinate staff.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned.
  • Develop new and update existing operations manual for various departments

 

Job Requirements and Desired Skills:

Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications/Experience:

  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
