Vacancy: Cleaning Services

The University of Blantyre Synod is currently seeking proposals from qualified and experienced cleaning service providers to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our campus facilities. We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Scope of Work

The selected cleaning company will be responsible for:

1. Daily Cleaning Services:
   • Routine cleaning of classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and common areas.
   • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
   • Dusting and sanitizing surfaces, including desks, tables, and equipment.
   • Emptying and sanitizing waste bins.
2. Deep Cleaning Services:
   • Periodic deep cleaning of all facilities, including carpets, upholstery, and hard-to-reach areas.
   • Specialized cleaning of restrooms, ensuring high standards of hygiene.
   • Window washing and exterior cleaning as required.
3. Post-Event Cleaning:
   • Cleaning services following university events, including conferences and gatherings.
4. Emergency Cleaning Services:
   • Availability for urgent cleaning needs as they arise.

Requirements

Interested cleaning companies must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of [insert number] years of experience in providing cleaning services, particularly in educational institutions or large facilities.
• Staff Qualifications: Trained and vetted cleaning staff who adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Eco-Friendly Practices: Commitment to using environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable practices.
