The University of Livingstonia invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions tenable at Rafiki Campus (Mzuzu City) a constituent college of The University of Livingstonia.

LECTURER IN PRIMARY EDUCATION (3 positions)

RESPONSIBILITIES
a. To conduct teaching and provide academic support
b. To develop, review, deliver and update course plan in compliance with syllabus.
c. To monitor student report progress.
d. To set the examination papers and maintain quality standards.
e. To perform the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of student performance.
f. To develop a classroom conducive learning environment for students.
g. To perform any other academic-related duties and task.

REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must possess at least a Masters Degree in Primary Education or Masters Degree in Education. Those with a Master’s degree in Primary Education and experience in Classical Education, teaching art, music, literature will have an added advantage

Other attributes needed are:

1. Prior teaching experience of at least 2 years;
2. Willingness to learn the classical system of education and work in a team with positive attitude towards students and co-workers
3. Possess an excellent command of English communication skills along with administrative capabilities;
4. Passion for teaching and willing to provide quality education to students.
5. Be computer literate.
