MARKETING OFFICER

Seed Co Malawi Limited, a leading supplier of superior crop seeds of maize hybrid, soya, sugar beans, rice and vegetables seeks to recruit interested, capable, and experienced Marketing Officer to be reporting to Head of Commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Playing the primary role in recommending the organization’s selling and marketing strategic plan
• Develop and implement promotional and advertising campaigns that maintain visibility of the organization and promote the brand Lead in digital content creation and management
• Identifying strategic partners in promotional activities
• Representing the organization at both local and international events
• Prepare marketing budget and monitor expenditure
• Initiate periodic research on brands, consumers and market dynamics
• Brief advertising agency on media objectives and creative material development and production

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in business, marketing, or management, but not a must (or related fields)
• Business or marketing and/or business post graduate education (MBA) will be an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or commercial lead roles
• Experience in Agriculture business is a plus
