Overview
A consortium comprised of three local womenโs rights NGOs has received a grant under the What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women and girlsโ program to implement a project that seeks to prevent Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) called Pamodzi Kuthetsa Nkhanza (PKN). The consortium comprises of Womenโs Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC), Girls Empowerment Network (Malawi) GENET and Human Rights of Women and Girls with Disabilities (WAG-Disability Rights). The project will be implemented in Balaka and Lilongwe districts as well as at National level for a period of 4.5years. The Consortium seeks the services of the following: โ
Monitoring and Evaluation lead (1 position to be based at the PKN Secretariat in Blantyre)
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: โ
- Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
- Check data quality with parters.
- Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyse and aggregate findings.
- Support program progress reporting, program midterm review and final evaluation
- Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.
- Monitor all program activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the program outputs
- Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
- Provide inputs, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual, and other reports to Program Executive Committee
- Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Program lead in preparing relevant reports.
- Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project.
- Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities.
- Perform other duties as required by the Program Executive Committee
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
A bachelorโs degree in social science, Political science, Community development, Rural development with a minimum of 5 yearsโ experience in managerial work. A masterโs degree will be an added advantage.

- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
