Duties
- Interpreting and application of Malawi Public Service Commission Regulations(MPSCR) and Public Service Act, Treasury instructions and other instructions as may be issued from time to time;
- Conducting recruitment and selection of staff;
- Carrying out office superintendent functions;
- Conducting on the job training of staff subordinates;
- Maintaining up to date inventory of stores and equipment; and,
- Supervising subordinate staff.

Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of a diploma in either in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development from recognized institutions.
Duties
(a) Recruitment;
- Reporting of vacancies to either Civil Service Commission or Appointments and Disciplinary Committee;
- Preparing shortlist for submission to CSC or ADC;
- Inviting shortlist candidates for interviews;
- Serving as a member or Secretary for an interview panel;
(b) Management
- Ensuring that junior staff carries out their duties to the required standard and target;
- Ensuring that discipline is maintained among junior through settling of disputes, counselling, issuing letters of warning, interdiction, dismal or termination of contract.
(c) Advisory Role
- Assisting in the interpretation of MPSR, PSRC and other circulars as may be issued from time to time;
- Advising on matters concerning establishment and staff development.
(d) Office Service Role
- Purchasing, stock and issue stores and stationary items; ii. Controlling use and arrange service or repair of vehicles;

Qualifications
Applicants Should be in possession of either Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Purchasing and Supply from accredited institutions or Graduate Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (Level 6).
Duties
- Assisting in preparation of procurement plan for the designated procurement activities;
- Verifying cost estimates for designated procurement within budget;
- Assisting in preparation of simple solicitation documents (request for quotation documents and bidding);
- Assisting in preparation of bid evaluation reports and draft contract etc.;
- Supervising subordinate staff.

Qualifications

Duties
- Preparing Supply orders and budgets for the Library collections;
- Receiving library collections;
- Maintaining up to date records for text reference books, periodicals, journals and abstracts;
- Cataloguing Library collections in the Library;
- Labeling all new and old collections in the Library;

Qualifications
Applicants Should be serving officers at Grade G positions, with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade and in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Journalism, Humanities (majoring in English or Drama), Mass Communication, and Media for Development, obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
- Taking charge of all the radio programs that are aired;
- Ensuring that the station adheres to the broadcast standards and ethics;
- Maintaining accurate records, and regularly preparing and communicating reports;
- Managing day to day operations, including station inventory and suppliers, safety and security and space allocation/utilization;
- Participating actively in defining short and long term goals, policies and procedures;
- Monitoring all activities in order to identify necessary changes;
- Maintaining a diverse staff while adhering to the station’s mission,
- Recruiting, scheduling and training staff.

Post: Principal Producer (Grade G)
Salary: Within the Grade G salary scale segment
Location: Education Radio (Blantyre)
Qualifications
Applicants Should be serving officers at (Grade H) position, with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade and in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in either Journalism or Mass Communication, obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
- Coordinating various aspects of production of programs;
- Designing programs;
- Coordinating outside broadcasting (OB);
- Vetting programs in line with broadcasting ethics;
- Contributing content to various programs;
- Developing new program ideas;
- Providing commentary of VVIP and special events programs;
- Steering the program form conception which can accommodate talent and creativity.
- Bringing together key members of the creative team in production;
- Helping executive producers of programs in resource mobilization;
- Recommending location, studio bookings, final shooting script and production schedule;
- Consulting with executive producer and other key creative members on off-set;
- Liaising with picture editor and post production teams on the production process;
- Providing production assistant and graphic operators with detailed of graphics to be inserted;
- Coordinating all elements of production e.g. Cast, administrative, legal, financial and scheduling issues;
- Vetting programs before submitting to the supervisor of before production;
- Presenting/ hosting programs;
- Developing program proposal;
- Interviewing guest in the studio, telephone and on location;
- Conducting preliminary research on a particular program;
- Making logistical arrangements for interviews.

- Conducting performance management of the division any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

Duties
- Producing special program and documentaries;
- Presenting live and recorded programs;
- Handling continuity roster for smooth transmission;
- Producing weekly programs;
- Training radio listening clubs in radio production;
- Identifying content gaps in programs;
- Conducting preliminary research of the program content;
- Developing program proposal;
- Responding to the audience feedback and refers them to the concerned departments;
- Reviewing the production process to ensure objectives are met;
- Managing logistics of getting resource persons and equipment’s for program production;
- Ensuring programs are broadcasted on time and consistency.

Qualifications
Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in any of the following fields: Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resource and Information Technology, obtained from recognized institutions.
Duties
- Assisting in development of internal audit engagement plans and programs;
- Collecting and analyze data for internal audit engagements according to audit programs;
- Filing and maintaining audit working papers;
- Maintaining audit register;
- Maintaining a database for quality assurance assessment results; and,
- Performing any other work-related duties.
