Qualifications:

Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in any of the following fields: Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Veterinary Medicine and Chemistry, obtained from accredited institutions.

Duties

(a) Being in charge of Bacteriology, Chemistry/Toxicology, Virology, Helminthology or Protozoology Sections or the central Veterinary Laboratories of Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre;

(b) Supervising all technical staff and work done in the sections;

Qualifications:

Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in any of the following fields: Veterinary Science or Animal Health and Production,obtained from recognized institutions.

Duties

(a) Conducting animal health and production activities in Extension Planning Areas (EPAs)

(b) Conducting animal disease investigations, treatments and vaccinations for various Livestock species;

(c) Preparing and implementing Annual Work Plans and their activities;

(d) Conducting meat inspections and compile a report on slaughter places;

Duties

(a) Carrying out all studio maintenance of the corporation;

(b) Checking on the status of studio equipment and makes necessary interventions if necessary;

(d) Monitoring all programs from the FCC output to the transmission signal to ensure that all
discrepancies are recorded;

(e) Recording on daily basis satellite parameters in the main uplink control centre to ensure that deviations are attended to or reported to the senior authorities;

(f) Carrying out maintenance of electrical works of MBC infrastructure;

(g) Conducting frequent physical inspection of the outdoor installations like main uplink HPA and all satellite dishes;

(h) Operating standby generators;

Duties

(a) Inspecting construction sites regularly to ensure that the work is being performed according to the plans and within safety guidelines;

Duties
