Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant posts existing at Nsanje District Council.

1) Post: Director of Education
Grade: E/M2
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Chief Education Officers (Grade F/M3) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities. Principal Medical Officers

 

2) Post: Director of Human Resource and Administration
Grade: E/M2
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Chief Human Resource Officers (Grade F/ M3) or Chief Administrative Officers (Grade F/M3) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities

 

3) Post: Director of Agriculture
Grade: E/M2
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Chief Agriculture Officers (Grade F/M3) or Chief Irrigation Officers (Grade F/M3) or Chief Fisheries Officers (Grade F/M3) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

4) Post: Chief Buildings and Housing Engineer (Grade F/M3)
Grade: F/M3
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Principal Building and Housing Engineers (Grade G/M4) or Principal Public Works Officers (Grade G/M4) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities or Public Service.

 

5) Post: Chief Accountant (Grade F/M3)
Grade: F/M3
Location : Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Principal Accountants (Grade G/M4) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

6) Post: Principal Information Communication Technology Officer (Grade G/M4)
Grade : G/M4
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Information Communication Technology Officers (Grade H/M5) regardless of experience at that grade or Information Communication Technology Officers or Systems Analyst (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

7) Post: Principal Community Development Officer (Grade G/M4)
Grade: G/M4
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Community Development Officers (Grade H/M5) regardless of experience at that grade or Community Development Officers (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

8) Post : Principal Human Resource Management Officer (Grade G/M4)

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Human Resource Management Officers (Grade H/M5) regardless of experience at that grade or Human Resources Management Officers or Human Resources Planning Officers or Human Resources Development Officers (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

9) Post: Principal Gender Officer (Grade G/M4)

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Gender Officers or Senior Social Welfare Officers (Grade H/M5) regardless of experience at that grade or Gender Officers or Social Welfare Officers (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

10) Post: Principal Lands Officer (Grade G/M4)
Grade: G/M4
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Lands Officers, Senior Estates Management Officers, Senior Physical Planning Officers or Senior Lands Surveyors (Grade H/M5) regardless of experience at that grade or Lands Officers, Lands Registrars, Estates Management Officers, Physical Planning Officers or Land Surveyors (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

11) Post: Principal Agriculture Officer (Grade G/M4)
Grade: G/M4
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Agriculture Extension Development Coordinators, Agriculture Officers or Chief Technical Officers, (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

12) Post: Principal Administrative Officer (Grade G/M4)
Grade : G/M4
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Administrative Officers (Grade I/M6) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the Local Authorities.

 

13) Post: Biomedical Engineer (Grade G/M4)
Grade: I/M6
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering obtained from accredited institutions, and must be registered with Malawi Institute of Engineers and Medical Council of Malawi.

 

14) Post : Administrative Officer (Grade I/M6)

Grade: I/M6
Location : Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resource Administration, Human Resource Management or Political Science obtained from an accredited institutions.

 

15) Post: Environmental Affairs Officer (Grade I/M6)
Grade: I/M6
Location : Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be serving Senior Assistant Environmental Affairs Officers (Grade J/M7) with a minimum of four years’ experience at that grade or those in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources Management obtained from accredited Institutions.

 

16) Post : Child Affairs Officer (Grade I/M6)
Grade : I/M6
Location: Nsanje District Council

Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Development, Social Work, Education, Human Rights, Gender or Community Development or Development Studies obtained from accredited institutions.
