JOB VACANCY:   PHARMACY TECHNICIANS (2)

Z+Plus Pharmacy is a private pharmaceutical company based in Lilongwe Malawi. It is involved in both retail and wholesale businesses of pharmaceuticals. The goal of the company is to be a leading public health hub for pharmaceutical healthcare in Malawi and beyond through provision of high quality pharmaceutical products and services. The company is seeking to recruit highly motivated pharmacy technicians to join its vibrant team. Both positions are tenable in Lilongwe.

Key Responsibilities 

Under the supervision of the pharmacist the pharmacy technician will be responsible for the following.

• Interpreting prescriptions
• Dispensing medications
• Inventory management
• Responding to minor symptoms
• Medical aid prescription processing
• Supervising Junior staff
• Other administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelors degree in nursing or related field with at least one-year experience in pharmacy-related work. Those with Diploma in nursing with pharmacy-related work experience may also apply.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Experience in pharmacy practice will be an added advantage
• Ability to be creative and analytical in problem solving environment
• Ability to be a team player
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English Language.
