A consortium comprised of three local women’s rights NGOs has received a grant under the What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women and girls’ program to implement a project that seeks to prevent Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) called Pamodzi Kuthetsa Nkhanza (PKN). The consortium comprises of Women’s Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC), Girls Empowerment Network (Malawi) GENET and Human Rights of Women and Girls with Disabilities (WAG-Disability Rights). The project will be implemented in Balaka and Lilongwe districts as well as at National level for a period of 4.5years. The Consortium seeks the services of the following:

Program Lead (1 position to be based at the PKN Secretariat in Blantyre)

The Program lead is resposible for the successful delivery of the whole proposed change, co-ordination as well as management. She/He will be supervised by an Executive
Committee comprised of Executive Directors from the three consortium members.

Specific Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

•Managing day to day program issues
•Develop program materials on prevention of Intimate Partner violence.
•Supervising all staff under the program
•Representing the Consortium in different for a when delegated
•Developing program reports for the PKN
•Any ofther duties as assigned by the Executive Committee of the Program.

•A bachelor's degree in social science, Community development, rural developmet with a minimum of 5 years' experienoce in managerial work. A master's degree will be an added advantage.

•Able to work under minimum supervision.
•Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
•Good interpersonal skills.
