This is a middle management position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer for strategic and policy matters with a dotted line to the Chief Finance Officer for operational matters. The incumbent shall, among other things, be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and strengthening the Company’s market position, brand, and customer relationship management.
Some of the key responsibilities for the position are as follows:
- Development and implementation of the Sales and Marketing Strategy
- Development and implementation of Marketing plans
- Brand awareness management
- Business development for new products
- Sales and customer relationship management
- Resource management
- Export market development
- Departmental management
- Risk and Innovation management
The ideal candidate must have the following basic qualifications and attributes:-
- Bachelor’s degree in either of the following fields: Sales and Marketing or Commerce, Business Administration or Business Management
- Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry or business management environment at Management level, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
- Knowledge in conducting market research/intelligence, data analytics and report writing
- Knowledge in alcohol market dynamics
- Innovative, visionary, and a creative thinker
- Technologically savvy
- A self-starter with integrity/trustworthy
- Tenacious and resilient with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
