Cement Products Limited invites applications from suitably qualified people to fill in the post of Sales Assistant. The successful applicant will be based in Mangochi District.
1. POSITION: SALES ASSISTANT
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer service
- Greet customers
- Answer questions about products and services
- Help customers find products
- Recommend products
- Process returns and refunds
- Seek feedback to improve customer service
- Sales processing
- Process sales, including cash, card, and online sales Track and report sales
- Meet sales targets
- Administrative support
- Process sales reports and presentations
- Prepare and maintain sales data
- Ensure accounts are up to date
- Coordinate with other departments
- Provide regular reports and updates to the sales team
- Inventory management Maintain a good inventory of products
- Keep the store tidy and clean, Assist cashiers, and Direct customers to the manager

Knowledge, Experience, And Qualifications Required
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing. Those with Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Business or related field Sales or its equivalent from an accredited University will have added advantage.
- Minimum two years’ experience, in Sales Computer literate: word, excel,
- Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) preferably sage pastel systems,

2. POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Job purpose
Responsible for preparing financial accounts in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and code invoices, credit notes and receipts
- Gather, analyze and report on information about income and expenditure to support decision making and management planning
- Assist the Senior Accountant in drafting budgets and preparing forecasts of income and expenditure
- Ensure there is a clear record of financial transactions (income and expenditure) in accordance with organizational and tax authority requirements
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments delayed payments, ano other irregularities, follow up on outstanding payments, collect and allocate payments to the correct accounts
- Respond to queries from customers, check and verify bank transactions
- Prepare ledger balances, control accounts and statements, reconciling all the figures
- Draft trial balances and financial statements
- Identify and correct or refer any errors or accounting discrepancies
- Prepare final accounts for review and approval of the Senior Accountant
- Provide cost and revenue information in the required formats to the relevant people
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Preparation of Tax Returns and Tax Assignments
- Managing, Prepare Accounts Receivable Reconciliation and Ageing Analysis Raising invoices, Assisting with audits, Ensure timely bank deposits,
- Recording fuel issues,
- Fuel stock account reconciliation
