Timotheos Foundation is a local Malawian Christian Charity whose main objective is to support and care for orphans and other vulnerable children in Malawi. It was established on 1st September 2011 and officially registered under the Trustees incorporation act of Malawi on 3rd July 2012. We are affiliated with CONGOMA as well as the NGO Board of Malawi. A secondary school of our organization is in a growth stage, Timotheos Foundation is in the process of recruiting additional members of staff to cater to the needs of its beneficiaries.



The successful candidates shall be posted at David Livingstone Christian Academy which is located in Domasi,

The candidates shall, among other things, provide education services to students through lesson preparation, delivery and evaluation at the expense of ensuring high standards of education services    and discipline to meet the institution`s objectives .

Status of the contract:  One year, renewable depending on performance, and conduct.

1.4Analytical skills combined with a student/learner-oriented focus

1.5Demonstrate dedication to work and efficiency and effectiveness in dealing with duties assigned.

1.6 Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

1.7 Dedicated to produce impressive results at the end of each and every term



2.1 Preparing schemes and records of work as well as lesson plans 2.2Compiling test results

2.3Ensuring that teaching and learning is taking place in his/her class

2.4Maintaining class records e.g. attendance, scholastic and period registers.

2.5Coordinating with the Principal on class related issues

2.6 Managing the care of classroom property

2.7 Providing counseling and guidance to learners

2.8Conducting remedial lessons

2.9Maintaining discipline and classroom cleanliness.

2.10 Identifying students’ needs

2.11 Teaching Bible stories following reformed doctrine before the beginning of of classes is a MUST.

2.12 Any other duties assigned by the Principal or Vice Principal from time to time.



3.1 Must have a minimum qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Education— (Languages and Sciences obtained from a reputable accredited University in Malawi with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ teaching experience as a Secondary School Teacher

3.2Understanding the duties and tasks of a Secondary School Teacher.

3.3The Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Education in Languages and Sciences

3.4The job requires someone who can communicate very well in both English and Chichewa Languages.

3.5Must possess all qualities of a good secondary school leader.

3.6 Able to pay attention to detail

3.7Be able to promote the Christian identity of the organization

3.8 Must be between 35 to 50 years old.



  • Salary will be commensurate with the grade and scope of the post indicated, as shall be laid out in the contract of employment.
