Overview
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
About Us:
We are a dynamic e-commerce startup based in Lilongwe, Malawi, currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team and commence work on 1st June 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to their entire team, and customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to our platform and assist with problem resolution.
- Maintain our website
- Identify and address software bugs or issues.
- Document technical support processes and maintain knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background with proficiency in troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- No previous experience is required.
- Aged 23-30.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 250,000 Malawi Kwacha in the first three months of probation, then 300,000
Malawi Kwacha thereafter. - 5% equity in the company offered to each employee.
