VACANCY: TILL OPERATORS/SERVICE CREW MEMBERS

Serendib Hotels and Resorts is looking for Cashiers\Service Crew members

Job Description

• Greet and escort customers to their tables
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses
• Up-sell additional products when appropriate
• Serve food and drink orders
• Provide excellent customer service to guests
• Accurately process customer transactions. This includes scanning items, applying discounts or promotional codes, handling cash, and processing card payments.
• Able to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and that the drawer balances at the end of their shift

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Certificate or diploma in commerce or accounting
• 2 years experience as a Till operator or Service Crew (waiter)
• At least 2 Traceable references from the previous workplace
