Alliance One Tobacco (Malawi) Ltd is seeking applications for the post of:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
The successful applicant will report to the Dry Leaf Services Controller.

Key responsibilities include:-

• Supervising all assignments in the Dry Leaf section and sees that they are done timely.
• Monitoring the coming in of packed tobacco into Dry warehouse
• Ensuring that the packed tobacco is effectively scanned
• Preparing daily report on bulging cases, broken strappings and re-weighing cases at the receiving point.
• Ensuring that stocks received from production are tallying up with SAP figures
• Monitoring the de-stacking of grades to be shipped and verifying the grades and quantity to be shipped
• Checking if the labelling is correct before loading commences and then inspecting the containers or Break
  bulk if they are in good condition to be loaded.
• Taking a lead in toolbox talk and house keeping

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of Diploma in Business Management or Logistics and Transport
• Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field is an added advantage.
• Must have 5 years experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Environment and Busy Warehouse environment
• Should have planning and organising skills
• Computerized Inventory Management Systems e.g. SAP
• Computer literacy is a must
