Role Overview:

ETG seeks an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to be part of our Blantyre-Maone warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, casual labour supervision, order fulfillment, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement stock control measures to prevent shortages.
• Supervise casual labourers, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and in storage.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Implement health and safety policies and ensure all employees comply with relevant guidelines.
• Handle warehouse equipment and maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and operational issues to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment of farm inputs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
• Knowledge of inventory control, health and safety regulations, and warehouse best practices.
